Fairtrade and fairmined gold certification is done through FLO-Cert, an independent third-party organization. An article appearing in the June 2011 issue of Jewellery Business entitled “A fair shake[1]” suggested the Alliance for Responsible Mining (ARM) was responsible for certification.
