Mine Diamonds—a direct-to-consumer venture—will sell lab-grown diamonds in orange, yellow, blue, and pink, in a variety of hues and saturations. The diamonds, which are created using the high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) method, will be offered as loose stones or as finished jewellery, including rings, pendants, and earrings.
Lab-grown diamonds—which are physically, chemically, and optically identical to their natural counterparts—have become a viable option among consumers on an environmental, scientific, and financial level.
“Laboratory-grown diamonds are a pioneering concept in our industry and we believe that under the guidance of our 150-year-old reputation for innovation, gemmological excellence, and ethics, Mine Diamonds offers a unique opportunity for everybody that loves coloured diamonds,” said Mike Asscher of Mine Diamonds.
