Watch IT! opens flagship store in Toronto

Canada’s answer to Times Square is tick-tocking a little louder, now that retail watch and sunglass store Watch IT! has moved in.

The company’s new flagship store opened its doors in December at Yonge-Dundas Square in the heart of Toronto’s retail and entertainment district. The area sees daily foot traffic of more than 60,000 pedestrians.

Watch IT! carries lines like Swiss Army, Citizen, Nike, Hugo Boss, Guess, and Fossil, and also offers watch repair services.

“We couldn’t be more proud of this location and have great local owners who will provide premium service for all of our customers who take pride in their individuality, their sense of style, and their appreciation for quality,” said Watch IT! president and founder Darren Bondar.

“Our expansion could not be possible without the support of our customers, suppliers, store owners, and staff who have helped us build a successful national brand. In turn, we look forward to continuing to offer a first-class shopping experience, quality watch and sunglass brands, and an outstanding company culture for many years to come.”

The franchise has multiple locations across Canada, including Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, and several in Ontario. The company also has a store in the Mall of America in Minnesota and two in India.
