Dennis Edminson, owner and partner in J. Nunes Diamonds and later JND & Associates, has died at the age of 88.

An industry pioneer, he was one of the first diamond cutters to set up a diamond polishing and cutting business in Toronto after the Second World War.

He is remembered as being key in connecting the Russian diamond industry with Henry Birks & Sons during the Soviet era.
