Lionheart debuts ‘Best Friend’ jewellery collection featuring dog breeds
Handmade charms are available in 14K and 18K gold

Lionheart has launched a new fine jewellery collection featuring handcrafted medallion charms inspired by dog breeds.
The ‘Best Friend’ collection includes gold and diamond charms depicting various dogs and is designed to be worn as pendants, on charm bracelets, or with the brand’s signature gold chains. The charms are available in 14K or 18K gold.
The collection was created by Joy Haugaard, designer and founder of Lionheart, an award-winning jewellery brand she runs with her sister, Sarah Haugaard.

“I have always been a dog lover,” Haugaard said in a statement. She said the designs were intended to allow dog owners and enthusiasts to wear representations of their favourite breeds, honour a specific pet, or commemorate the loss of a dog.
The charms measure 25 millimetres and feature diamond accents. Engraving is available by special request, allowing buyers to add a dog’s name or a short message on the back of the medallion.
Breeds currently offered include shih tzu, golden retriever, German shepherd, Dalmatian, boxer, Bernese mountain dog, beagle, basset hound, and Akita.

According to the company, future designs will include additional breeds such as poodles, French bulldogs, and yorkies.
The collection launches ahead of Valentine’s Day and is available through Lionheart’s website and partner jewellery retailers.
