The Jewelry Symposium (TJS) will host its second industry roundtable, Rebuilding the Workforce, focusing on workforce challenges from May 16 to May 19, 2026, at the Detroit Marriott Troy in Michigan.

The roundtable will kick off the event on May 16 and is co-sponsored by Manufacturing Silversmiths & Jewelers of America (MSJA) and Jewelers of America (JA), building on discussions from the 2025 roundtable.

Linus Drogs, chairman of the TJS board, emphasized the need for the industry to improve recruitment, training, and retention strategies. The 2026 session will feature global industry professionals sharing their insights.

TJS will also offer virtual attendance options and is inviting companies to share successful workforce retention strategies.

In addition, TJS announced its first mobile app designed to enhance the attendee experience, allowing registration, event agenda viewing, live updates, document downloads, contact sharing, and community chats.

The app will be available for download on both Apple and Android devices.

Early-bird registration is open until March 31, with fees set at $1,320 per person or $1,270 for groups of three.

Attendees who book accommodations at the Detroit Marriott before registering will receive a $50 discount.
