A significant collection of rough Brazilian emeralds is set to be sold through an international online auction hosted by Auctim.com. The court-ordered liquidation includes 109 individual lots comprising a combined total of 1,463 kilograms of uncut emeralds. The offering presents a broad range of quality, from small commercial-grade melee to vibrant stones approaching gem quality.

The emeralds originate from Brazil, one of the world’s key sources of coloured gemstones. With each lot weighing between 8,000 and 18,000 grams, the collection is likely to attract attention from gemstone cutters, manufacturers, traders, and investment buyers across the globe. The sheer volume and variety of the material make it a noteworthy event in the coloured stone market.

“This sale stands out due to both the volume and the variety,” said Christophe Moyersoen, CEO of Auctim. “In addition to commercial-grade parcels, bidders will also discover premium material with strong cutting potential and colour appeal.”

This sale is being conducted entirely online, with bidding open from September 1 through September 11, 2025, via Auctim’s secure platform. At the close of the auction, all lots will be awarded to the highest bidders.

To ensure transparency and security, the auction is open exclusively to verified business-to-business participants. Interested parties must complete the registration process and provide a refundable warranty before gaining access to bidding or viewing options.

Private, in-person viewings of the material will be available by appointment only in Antwerp, Belgium. These viewings offer qualified buyers an opportunity to inspect the rough emeralds firsthand before making purchasing decisions.

As demand for coloured gemstones continues to grow, especially in the luxury and custom jewellery sectors, this auction represents a timely and sizable offering of raw material.
