Incident 1: On Friday, September 19, two individuals entered a pawn shop near Finch Avenue West and Dufferin Street in Toronto. One engaged an employee in a conversation about selling a gold chain, likely to distract him, while the other moved around the store. The second individual attempted to access the area behind the counter, possibly to disable the controlled entry system, but was thwarted by the staff. The suspects then left the scene.

Incident 2: Later that same day, three individuals forcibly entered a retail jewellery store in a Scarborough strip mall at Kingston Road and McCowan Road around 6 a.m. After briefly attempting to enter a neighbouring store, they gained access through the rear entrance. The burglars removed jewellery left out overnight, causing damage to the rear door, glass, and other property before triggering the alarm and fleeing the scene.

Incident 3: On September 30, four masked individuals attempted to rob a jewellery store at Dundas Street and Hurontario Street in Mississauga, Ont., at around 6 p.m. They used sledgehammers to break open the main entrance, but were unsuccessful. Employees activated a siren, prompting the suspects to flee by car. They were involved in an automobile accident shortly afterward. Peel Regional Police responded and arrived about 30 minutes later. No arrests have been reported.
