Stuller has released a fully updated edition of The Basics of Jewelry, a comprehensive training resource designed to support jewellery professionals at all levels.

First published in 2012, the refreshed edition reflects today’s evolving jewellery landscape with expanded content, modernized topics, and enhanced visual learning tools. Covering key areas such as metals, diamonds, gemstones, tools, jewellery care, and displays, the guide is built to strengthen both foundational knowledge and practical skills across the trade.

Rich with illustrations, diagrams, charts, and photos, the resource is designed to simplify complex concepts and support clearer understanding. It is positioned as a versatile tool for onboarding new staff, training sales associates, and refreshing the expertise of experienced bench jewellers.

“Education has always been at the heart of Stuller’s mission,” says Alix Gonsoulin, vice-president of product operations. “We’re excited to bring back The Basics of Jewelry in a completely refreshed format that combines timeless fundamentals with modern updates to meet the needs of today’s jewellers.”
