Jaeger-LeCoultre has named actor Robert Pattinson as its newest global ambassador, marking a new step in the Swiss watchmaker’s efforts to connect with contemporary audiences.

Pattinson, known most recently for his roles in The Odyssey and The Drama, has a longstanding interest in watchmaking and mechanical craftsmanship, according to the brand.

“For me, the most compelling objects are the ones that have real depth to them. A great watch isn’t just about precision—it’s about character, craftsmanship, and the story behind how it’s made,” Pattinson says. “Jaeger-LeCoultre has always embodied that kind of quiet mastery. There’s an integrity to everything they create, where technical innovation and artistic expression exist in perfect balance. I find that approach incredibly inspiring, and it’s something I deeply connect with in my own work.”

Pattinson will front an initial campaign launching in September for the Master Control Chronometre, a collection introduced earlier this year that has reportedly become a personal favourite of his.

The actor first gained wide recognition for his role as Edward Cullen in the Twilight series and later as Batman in The Batman. He has several projects in the pipeline, including Dune: Part Three, Primetime, and The Batman: Part II.
