JCK 2026 grants highlight education, security, and community

The JCK Industry Fund has announced the nine organizations selected to receive grants in 2026, supporting projects focused on education, workforce development, security, and community engagement throughout the jewellery industry.
“We’ve seen firsthand how investing in visionary programs transforms lives and drives industry progress,” said Sarin Bachmann, senior vice president of the RX jewelry portfolio and chair of the JCK Industry Fund committee. “This year’s recipients exemplify the spirit of innovation and dedication.”
The 2026 grant recipients include:

- BIJC Education Fund – Future Jewelers Academy – The grant will support hands-on training, mentorship, and career development opportunities in jewellery design and manufacturing.
- Diamond Council of America – Funding will expand the organization’s Second Spark program, which provides certification, career support, and job placement assistance for veterans and parents re-entering the workforce.
- Diamonds Do Good (DDG) – The grant will support consumer-focused marketing campaigns and retailer partnerships that promote the positive impact of natural diamonds.
- Gem Legacy – Funding will help build a water well and improve infrastructure at its Tanzania campus while supporting education, nutrition, and vocational training programs in mining communities.

- Jewelers Vigilance Committee (JVC) – Funding will help provide legal guidance and resources to industry members navigating tariffs and international trade issues.

Since its launch in 1997, the JCK Industry Fund has awarded more than $7 million in grants to programs aimed at advancing the jewellery industry’s long-term growth and development. The fund evaluates applicants based on their alignment with its mission and their ability to deliver sustainable impact across key focus areas.
Industry members attending the upcoming JCK Show in Las Vegas between May 29 and June 1 will have the opportunity to contribute to the fund during registration.
