This year’s edition of VicenzaOro September, the Italian Exhibition Group’s (IEG’s) jewellery boutique show, brought sparkle to both Italy and the show’s many international attendees. The five-day event took place from September 23 to 27, enjoying its most successful run in 10 years.
The Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) has finalized the merger between IEG and Arezzo Fiere e Congressi, making IEG responsible for the three editions of VicenzaOro, and the administrator for both the OroArezzo and Gold Italy shows.
After a recent meeting of Fiera di Vicenza’s board of directors, changes have been announced for the 2017 VicenzaOro International Gold and Jewellery Shows.
Due to increased interest in international distribution (expressed at the 2016 show), VicenzaOro January (January 20 to 25) will be expanded. The January show will be the industry’s first international trade show of the year, offering a showcase for new collections after a busy holiday season.
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is no longer an option in today’s business environment, but is instead, a requirement. That’s the message delivered at a seminar held at VicenzaOro. Sponsored by CIBJO and Fiera di Vicenza, the show’s organizer, the panel discussion focused particularly on the coloured gemstone sector.
Attracting 13 per cent more visitors than last year and opening under the theme, ‘The Future. Now,’ VicenzaOro’s layout has been completely changed to better help buyers find what they are looking for and get the most out of their visit.
