The 2016 CIBJO Congress will open in Yerevan, Armenia on October 26. The congress includes a series of meetings, each focusing on a different sector or field of interest in the jewellery industry. Agendas and related documentation for the meetings and sessions are now available online.
With the 2016 CIBJO Congress in Yerevan, Armenia set to open in less than two months, CIBJO commissions have released their second Special Report. The report—prepared by the CIBJO Ethics Commission—reviews the efforts of the World Jewellery Confederation to promote economic and environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
Armenia will welcome the industry when it gathers for CIBJO’s 2016 annual Congress. Held at Meridian Expo Centre in Yerevan, the gathering runs from Oct. 26 to 28, with pre-congress meetings scheduled for Oct. 24 and 25.
Istanbul, Turkey, will play host to CIBJO’S 2009 Congress. Held from May 3 to 5 and hosted by the Turkey Jewelry Association, the event will look at strategies to combat the impact of the global economic downturn, as well as issues of corporate social responsibility.
