St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will receive half of a $2-million donation, thanks to Jewelers Mutual’s ‘Band Together’ campaign. The Memphis, Tenn., hospital shares the donation with Habitat for Humanity and Feeding America/Food Banks Canada, which will be gifted $700,000 and $300,000, respectively.

Frederique Constant has named Oscar-winning actress and philanthropist Gwyneth Paltrow as its new global charity brand ambassador. In a press release, the company said Paltrow’s work as a brand ambassador will directly support the educational projects of the DonorsChoose organization, which is involved in supporting education for children.
Hera Jewellery is donating 10 per cent of its online sales during December to the Canada Women’s Foundation. The charity works to empower women and girls to move out of violence and poverty and into confidence, an initiative that resonates with designer Hera Arkarakas.
